How CashDirector Reduced Compliance Review Time by 30–40%

How CashDirector uses Checklynx for onboarding, continuous sanctions monitoring and auditable compliance review, with approximately 30–40% less review time reported.

CashDirector uses Checklynx across customer onboarding and continuous monitoring. In a verified AWS Marketplace review, Robert Merati described a workflow covering beneficial owners, sanctions and politically exposed persons, adverse media, payouts and ongoing customer monitoring.

The result reported by the customer was concrete: approximately 30–40% less compliance review time. It reflects this implementation and is not a guaranteed result for every customer.

From raw results to reviewable profiles

The earlier workflow required compliance officers to work through separate raw results. Checklynx groups records that concern the same candidate into clustered profiles and combines them with identifiers and original source information.

That changes the review task. Instead of repeatedly interpreting disconnected results, an officer can assess a consolidated candidate profile, compare the relevant country and birth-year information and open the original sources when more context is needed.

Merati attributed the time saving to this combination of fewer false positives and clearer clustered profiles. As he reported in the AWS review: “We save approximately 30 to 40 percent on review time.”

Screening across onboarding and payments

The described workflow begins during onboarding. It identifies the owners and ultimate beneficial owners behind a company, then screens the relevant parties against sanctions and PEP data and performs adverse-media checks.

The control continues after onboarding. Checklynx monitors customers for relevant sanctions changes and notifies the team when an alert requires attention. The same screening context can support decisions connected with payouts and movement of funds into and out of a business account.

Monitoring is not treated as a notification alone. A case can record who reviewed an alert, how it was escalated, what decision was made and why it was resolved as a match or false positive.

Evidence prepared for audit

The customer highlighted the ability to export the decisions associated with an individual customer. That record can bring together onboarding, transaction and monitoring activity when the compliance team needs to respond to an audit or regulatory inquiry.

This is important because a screening result does not explain the final decision by itself. The retained case history connects the underlying source information with the reviewer, rationale, outcome and relevant customer record.

API scale without a difficult rollout

The company implemented Checklynx through the API and also used its MCP support for internal agentic workflows. The review describes the developer documentation as clear and the initial setup as straightforward.

The customer reported processing batches of 200 customers per second without noticeable latency. It also reported no experienced downtime and no breaking API changes since adoption. These observations cover the period described in the review; they are not universal performance guarantees.

A measurable reduction in review work

The reported 30–40% review-time saving was not attributed to hiding screening evidence. It came from reducing irrelevant false positives, clustering records that belong to the same candidate and retaining the original sources needed to support a decision.

That meant compliance officers could spend less time separating duplicate or irrelevant records and more time reviewing the profiles that required judgement.

Test your difficult screening cases

A useful evaluation starts with names and profiles that created excessive false positives or were difficult to resolve in the previous system. During the 30-day trial, teams can compare the resulting profiles, configure screening policies around their risk framework, run representative simulations and plan migration through CSV or API.
